Places Along the Way.

These are a few places that have inspired my walks and photography. If you’d like to visit them too, I’ve included links to their official websites for maps, hours, and park information.

A wooden boardwalk extending over a calm wetland area with lush trees at Kapok Park.

Kapok Park

A peaceful park with cypress trees, wetlands, boardwalks and quiet walking trails.

A wooden boardwalk leading into a lush, green forest at Eagle Lake Park.

Eagle Lake Park

Lakes, shaded trails, and changing wildlife throughout the year.

A wooden boardwalk winding through a lush, green nature preserve with tall trees at Moccasin Lake Nature Park.

A beautiful nature park with boardwalks and resident birds of prey.

Moccasin Lake Nature Park

Lush green hillside garden with various plants, trees, and a curved brick retaining wall, with a large tree and a wooden fence in the background.

Philippe Park

Towering oaks, peaceful views of Old Tampa Bay and the ancient Indian Temple Mound.

There are still places I haven’t walked. Sunrises I haven’t seen, and moments I haven’t photographed. That’s one of the things I love most about Florida - there’s always another quiet place waiting around the next bend.
